At Stanley Electric U.S. (SUS), we believe differences make us stronger and more competitive. That’s why we support a diverse supply base who aids in our ability to ‘outshine light’. We do this by ‘blazing a trail to a brilliant future’ with the support and partnership of small, minority, LBGT, veteran, disabled, and women-owned businesses. We look for suppliers who provide quality products and services, at a competitive price, and who can help us carry out our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
We strongly recognize an array of minority certified businesses. Although certification is not a requirement to conduct business with SUS, it is highly encouraged.
If you feel that you qualify for a minority business certification and would like assistance in becoming certified, SUS can work with you and the organization to make it happen. Please complete our Supplier Business Certification Request Form, and a SUS representative will contact the applicable business organization.
Below are a few of the business organization certifications SUS accepts:
- National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC) (or affiliate regional councils)
- National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (LGBTBE) (or affiliate chambers)
- U.S. Business Leadership Network (disability-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses)
If you already have one of these business organization certifications and would like to be considered for SUS’s supply base, please register by visiting our Supplier Registration page.
If you are a current SUS supplier and have a business certification, please let us know by emailing a copy of your business certification to Melissa Closser, Purchasing Process Control Coordinator, at email@example.com.
Ultimately, our goal is to develop a relationship with suppliers who are as dedicated as we are to our overall diversity strategy. Please help us by either letting us know you would like to become certified or if you are already certified – we want to work with you!
